I'm Chas and I've been "Fixing Stuff" for as long as I can remember. I repaired radios for teachers and mates when I was at school. When I left, I joined a TV rental company and began to learn how to repair Televisions, which had valves. I trained for City & Guilds 222 and became fully qualified in the mid 70s. Progressing through the ranks I was Senior engineer, Service Manager and then Technical Trainer, passing on my knowledge and experience to others. I moved into computers and technical support before retiring in 2016.

I now fix stuff for family and friends and have enjoyed watching others carry out repairs and restorations to all kinds of kit on YouTube, so thought I'd add my bit.

I hope you find the videos and advice I offer both enjoyable and useful. If you need help or advice, feel free to email me. If you really can't fix it, I'd be happy to have a look if you want to send it to me.
